Things about today:
* It's winter. No, really, it got incredibly windy today in Minneapolis, so windy that a construction guy died when something blew over on top of him. And the wind brought our winter with it. It's freezing!
* My VW Golf did need a new catalytic converter, as well as a new serpentine belt (cool name, huh?). Now that it has those things and its oil change, it drives great and I'm happy in it again.
* Heartbreak actually does hurt in your heart.
* Music helps.

Oh my that is not good! It is getting really cold here too! I am headed out for a run this morning and there is frost everywhere.
How about you nad me go hit the Ocean. I think I am Mermaid in Utah! Yes that is me! I have never gone this long without the Ocean and I will not be back until February so far. Very sad!
gotta love that I am in San Diego, no more snow for me.
I think everybody got strong winds yesterday - we did too, at least, so much so that it was raining at the same time and the rain was freezing on the trees. Yuck!! I hate to see that! I like snow for a beautiful white Christmas, and that's about it.
Molly, I'm going to start calling you Mermaid in Utah!
I'll be at the ocean pretty soon.
Hugs,
Brina
Jodes, I am envious that you live in California, though I don't know San Diego area. Mary Beth, how are you doing with the Chopin?
Hugs,
Brina
Here in England...its just grey today.
I like the bite of an icy winter. We don't have that at the moment.
I want snow too!
Tom.
Hi Brina,
Chopin is coming along not badly! I'm really enjoying it. The trick is to learn to play the part on Rachel's song quite fast, with all those runs. It's keeping me busy for at least an hour a day, though! :o)
Mary Beth
Hi Brina, thank you for the post on my blog.
we're going to go to London for the Dec 4th thing in Twickenham, will be first trip home in almost 15 years. I bet it's changed a lot. I can see Rowhill Cops on satellite photo's on Yahoo, it's still a large wooded area with a clearing in the center where soldiers play soccer. There's no parking, you have to walk in via these little inlet lanes that pass streams. There was a victorian bottle dump there, me and my mates would dig up old lemonade bottles and antique medicine jars and sell them in town for a pound a piece. Yes, I'm homesick and it's time.
I like that! Mermaid in Utah...totally fits me too!
