About Me
- Name: Bri
- Location: Plymouth, Minnesota, United States
I am a mermaid living in Minnesota, but I am moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2008. I'm an energetic, happy girl who forgets she's a grown-up sometimes. I'm raising a terrific teenager and have a busy, joyful life. I'm in my last year of grad. school, getting a master's in counseling psych. I work part-time from home as a proofreader and editor, and I perform as a classical pianist. I also work as a Pure Romance consultant (ask me more if you are a woman over the age of 18 and if you like to pamper yourself). I have a special man in my life and count myself lucky to love someone who also makes me laugh like nobody else.

Wigs are wonderful and I wear them often in real life. I have lovely curls but lets face it straight hair just rocks at certain events. why should I spend gobs of $$ at the salon when what I want is just a fantasdy phone call away to Frederick's?
Thanks for all the wonderful post, you have a bay area contact now! ;)
Best,
Amanda
Dear Amanda,
You are super!
I have a little group of California friends and contacts made over the years, some from my sis and some from my own curious exploration. I am happy to be able to count you as one, and besides, we could make music together. Would be great!
Like you, my hair is wavy/curly naturally and I have always craved straight hair. That's part of the fun of this wig play.
That, and it's just cool to see the difference it makes, and how different it feels.
Did you know that straight-haired girls wish they had curls?!
Hugs,
Brina
They both go well with your eyes.
Straight haired girls want curls and curly girls want it straight. It's all veyy rcrazy!
Excellent fun with the wigs!
I commented on your recurring dream post.
Thanks, joeboy and ptfan. I wore the black one to my favorite coffeeshop today for laughs. They liked it. My dog grrrrrrrrrowls at me whenever I don one of my wigs.
I'll probably wear the black one again this evening.
Cheers,
Brina
I definetely vote for the black one! I love it, it adds mystery and glamour!
Very mermaid-ish!

Hey Marietta,
When I come to London in March, shall we meet for tea and scones?
I love the black one, too. You can't see in the photo, but it's very long, a la Cher from the '60s.
Fun!
Brina
cool, my wig for halloween was cheap and it itched so bad. Found you thru comments on storms blog. Noticed your dream to move to the west coast, I just made it happen for us this past winter....San Diego, love it.
