Meet Carly, our fish.
She likes colorful surroundings, so I like to share my glass paperweight collection, and candles, with her. Today she is having a particularly delightful day.
I named her after a wonderful woman we knew when I was a little girl: Charlotte Fish. Charlotte and her husband Charlie Fish were neighbors of ours, and Charlie had a glass paperweight collection too. It all makes sense to me.
A girl gave A.J. this little female beta fish for Valentine's Day! At first, the fish didn't have a name and lived at A.J.'s other house, until one day A.J.'s cat tried to capture the fish for dinner! That was the night that Carly Fish came to live with us, and I named her. I have purchased a much bigger fish home for her, but she is so happy in this little one, I let her keep it for now.

Hey Bri
My daughter's boyfriend came over today while she was at work. He put a trail of Hershey kisses down the steps to her room with little notes along the way leading her through her bedroom into the bathroom. In the bathroom sink, he put goldfish (about 25) and on the mirror, he wrote "Of all the fish in the sea, I chose you. Will you go to the prom with me?" She was thrilled.
But now, we're wondering what to do with 25 goldfish....
