About Me
- Name: Bri
- Location: Plymouth, Minnesota, United States
I am a mermaid living in Minnesota, but I am moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2008. I'm an energetic, happy girl who forgets she's a grown-up sometimes. I'm raising a terrific teenager and have a busy, joyful life. I'm in my last year of grad. school, getting a master's in counseling psych. I work part-time from home as a proofreader and editor, and I perform as a classical pianist. I also work as a Pure Romance consultant (ask me more if you are a woman over the age of 18 and if you like to pamper yourself). I have a special man in my life and count myself lucky to love someone who also makes me laugh like nobody else.

Thanks, Amanda.
We should get together on one of my SF visits!
Hugs,
Brina
Hi Brina
Thanks so much for your kind comment on my blog. It's so great to meet a new blogger! Yes, you are so right about music - it's really the most vital part of life for me!
Whose is the cutie in your photo Brina? Ethan is a really lovely baby!
After reading some of yru earlier posts, it sounds as if you've also been having a tough time, so I hope things are going better for you now, Brina.
Looking forward to keepin in touch.
Val
PS Brina, thanks for the info about Bonnie Raitt! I didn't realise she ahd started out in Minnesota. I've loved her music for years, so it's always good to meet another devotee!
Thanks dear
Val
Hi Val,
Ethan was my youngest son, born prematurely, and he lived his whole life in the hospital. He lived just 4 1/2 months but is of course still in my heart. I'm holding him in the photo. Very cute, funny little baby with a strong personality and chubby (steroid) cheeks.
I saw your (grown-up!) kids on your blog. My older son, A.J., is 16 and a great person. He's wonderful to me lately, reminding me to get enough sleep, and laughing when I do silly mom things. I'm teaching him to drive!
Great to meet you, too. I already know your Koos a bit.
Hugs,
Brina
Hi Brina,
Lovely photo of your little one, and yes, it does bring a smile even though it also brings a tear.
I hope you're climbing ever onward. If you're in SF in August, we should have a blogger party. I'll be there hanging out with my friends all month long.
Cheers,
AM
That's so sad Brina. I'm at a loss for words because I can't even imagine what that must be like. So very sad.
Thank you for posting on my blog about the mandolin. First song on it is coming along. Music lifts you up when you are down, don't it.
Love and light to you and Ethan.
Hi Gary, and Anne-Marie,
Yes, music helps, and so do friends. And now I can help my friend Pam, whose mom died today. We are all connected together.
Gary, your song is awesome. I can't wait for Rachel to play it on ITA.
Anne-Marie, where do you stay when you're in the Bay Area? I don't know about August plans yet, but it's always a possibility.
Thank you both for your thoughts and for sharing Ethan's little face w/me. I really needed to look at it yesterday. Sometimes he gives me strength!
'night now.
