My bags are packed, I'm ready to go!
to Oregon...Portland, and then Newport, and then Portland again. An adventure, a solo trip, wow!
I'm hoping that I'll fall in love with Oregon, 'cause I'm considering living there post-master's degree, 2008. I have a good feeling about this adventure.
Every day I'm there, I plan to blog with a photo, so you can see some of what I'm seeing. Should be fun.

I'm watching the O.C. as I write this... Lucky you, you're going to Newport! That is in my plans to visit next time I'm in the USA, hopefully this fall...

Oh, Polly is at her favorite place, the dogsitter's house. She loves it there!
I'm here, safe and sound, starting to droop a bit as it was a long travel day. Cozy as can be in a sort of funky hotel by Lake Oswego for two nights. I have a kitchen, so I made my own dinner tonight.
I didn't get any exciting photos today, just a couple of me in my hotel room. I'll wait and post some tomorrow when I have more to share.
I have two books to proofread (for work)and two papers to write (for school), so I have to put in some working hours every day. So far today I read a book by a famous psychotherapist and theorist, Karen Horney. That's progress.
