Artist: ("Love is All Around" by Paul Williams) Lyrics
Song: Mary Tyler Moore Show Lyrics

Who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it's you girl, and you should know it
With each glance and every little movement you show it

Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all

How will you make it on your own?
This world is awfully big, girl this time you're all alone
But it's time you started living
It's time you let someone else do some giving

Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all

I'd like to think my theme song is... Meet Virginia

She doesn’t own a dress, her hair is always a mess
If you catch her stealin, she won’t confess
She’s beautiful
She smokes a pack a day, oh wait, that’s me but anyway
She doesn’t care a thing about that, hey,
She thinks I’m beautiful
Meet virginia
She never compromises, loves babies and surprises
Wears hi-heels when she exercises
Ain’t that beautiful
Meet virginia
Well she wants to be the queen
Then she thinks about her scene
Pulls her hair back as she screams
I don’t really wanna be the queen
Her daddy wrestles alligators, mama works on carburetors
Her brother is a fine mediator for the president
Well here she is again on the phone
Just like me hates to be alone
We just like to sit at home, and rip on the president
Meet virginia
Well she wants to live her life
Then she thinks about her life
Pulls her hair back as she screams
I don’t really wanna live this life
She only drinks coffee at midnight, when the moment is not
Right, her timing is quite-unusual
You see her confidence is tragic, but her intuition magic
And the shape of her body - unusual
Meet virginia-i can’t wait to
Meet virginia-yea

Hey, Jess. I like that song, is it by the Wallflowers or what group? I hear it a lot on Cities 97. It reminds me of you, now that you put it here!

Working well on my school stuff, and tending to the teenager, who is sick today. Busy, but happy to be inside. Soon I'll hit the road. No fun. I'm becoming a winter driving wimp.

Hugs,
Brina

Dear Brina

Just stopped in to say HI!

Good old Mary Tyler Moore! I remember the show so well. Way back when it just wasn't PC to be a single & successful woman.

We've come a long way but, apparently, not far enough.

Love
Dale

Sabrina, I am SO fucking irritated that someone tried correcting my English. Ugh. But, enough about that.

It's by a group called "Train," who also had some hits called "Drops of Jupiter" and "Calling All Angels."

My son is sick, too, but I had to call his father to come get him out of daycare because I am on probation here at work. :( I hope your boy gets better.
