Can you hear me?
My first attempt at attaching an mp3 here...I do hope you can open and hear it. This is a recording of me playing the "Nocturne" by Edvard Grieg, in our Sarabande concert in Vermont this August. Please, if you are able to open and listen, post to let me know. I'm learning...

Thanks, Claire! I'm so glad you came over to hear it.
I'm also happy about the dance. I was surprised they'd actually have "dance cards." That's such an old tradition. Wow!
My grandmother kept a dance card from when she was about your age. I still have it in the family heritage book.
Also, she met my grandfather at a dance. Very romantic story. He was nine years older and home from college, and she was only about your age. He said to himself after the dance, "When she grows up, I'm going to marry that girl!" and he did. Can you imagine anything more romantic than that?
Double wow.
'Night!
