I stopped at this beach on Thursday when I made the drive down the Pacific coastline from Pacifica to Monterey. Isn't the light amazing? It was almost like a dream....
These picture's are amazing Brina, they are very eerie and mysterious, I really love them, thankyou so much for posting them, and thankyou for thinking of me whilst seeing such beauty. I'm glad you had wonderful time, you deserve it. I hope this year brings you everything that you want. Thankyou so much for all you have done for me, making me feel welcome and appreciated. I look forward to our continuing corospondence, take care. mikey
I knew you'd like these. Almost ethereal. Actually, this whole weekend in northern and central coastal California was eerie. The surf, waves, were so high as to be dangerous, some roads and most beaches had to be closed because of the danger.
I stayed only at hotels on the water, and each night, the waves sounded like roaring trains. Because of the tsunami last year and all of the tragedy on the Gulf Coast, it's hard not to feel a bit worried when the waves get so big and loud...but on the other hand, I felt safe in those hotels.
I fell asleep to the ROAR of the waves every night for a whole week. I am a very happy mermaid.
Home in Minnesota now. No waves, but I can remember the sound!
I am a mermaid living in Minnesota, but I am moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2008. I'm an energetic, happy girl who forgets she's a grown-up sometimes. I'm raising a terrific teenager and have a busy, joyful life. I'm in my last year of grad. school, getting a master's in counseling psych. I work part-time from home as a proofreader and editor, and I perform as a classical pianist. I also work as a Pure Romance consultant (ask me more if you are a woman over the age of 18 and if you like to pamper yourself). I have a special man in my life and count myself lucky to love someone who also makes me laugh like nobody else.
