I discovered that taking a self-portrait of two faces--me and Joe--is much harder than one! Here is the one photo that succeeded, followed by two very funny ones. The water behind us is Monterey Bay.
Thanks, and I'm wishing you a wonderful new year, too.
I love to just watch the waves and listen. It's better than any movie. I did take some short movies of the ocean on this trip. Not sure how to post a movie on blogspot, though.
I am a mermaid living in Minnesota, but I am moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2008. I'm an energetic, happy girl who forgets she's a grown-up sometimes. I'm raising a terrific teenager and have a busy, joyful life. I'm in my last year of grad. school, getting a master's in counseling psych. I work part-time from home as a proofreader and editor, and I perform as a classical pianist. I also work as a Pure Romance consultant (ask me more if you are a woman over the age of 18 and if you like to pamper yourself). I have a special man in my life and count myself lucky to love someone who also makes me laugh like nobody else.

Happy New Year, Brina!
Lovely photos! All of them!
The ocean is so beautiful. Like I told Mikey, it's like the mountains. Always there, but ever changing.
I am a veritable landlubber, although I love to swim in our lake. The sea has never been my home, but I can certainly appreciate its beauty!
I hope you had a wonderful Holiday Season & all the Best to You & Yours in 2006!

Fun photos...I especially love the one where Joe is squinting LOL...I like when photos display us being real!
