While my son was in China last month, he had his portrait done by an artist on china!
He looks very much like himself, on this plate.
We are trying to figure out how and where to display it.
And sometimes I can't believe it: my little boy is a young man...almost eighteen...with a kind of a beard!

I'm not doing great, but not as bad as a week ago when things were so upsetting.
A lot of good did come to the fore this week, and I've not lost hope on the romance front either.
I should have news on Wednesday about my practicum "job" for the academic year. I'm hoping that they're going to offer me the position I want, and I'[ll know midweek. I will post something very UP here if that comes to pass!
