Cuddly day at home with Polly today. I am feeling under the weather and decided it should be a "pj's day" this afternoon. Po-Po thinks this is great! She doesn't like having her photo taken, though (she hates the flash), so I got a nice photo of her from above, as we sat on the floor together doing...nothing...which is what you are supposed to do when you're having a "pj's day"!
Hope you enjoy the photos.

Hi Brina,
Thanks for your sweet and heartwarming comments on Rachel's blog about the video part with my son and I.
Love to you, Elizabeth
Hi Brina,
Aw, those photos are great. Polly is adorable. I love pj afternoons with the dogs! Sorry you were under the weather though. Hope you are feeling better. xo Grace
Aw, Polly is just darling. Isn't it amazing how animals can sense your ups and downs and make you feel so much better>
Hi Elizabeth, Grace, and Anne-Marie,
Yes, animals are so intuitive and sense so much about us. It's interesting. In my counseling microskills class this semester, we are studying the skill of attentive listening. So much of it is nonverbal body language, and also the way we use our voice, eyes, and our words to express to our client that indeed we are listening and we care.
Polly doesn't have to go to grad. school to learn this stuff. She does it! She "listens" to my moods, my health, my very soul.
I am so grateful to have her. I'm having a rough week all 'round, and she's my constant support. When people let us down, as they will, we always have our animals.
Love and hugs,
Brina
